I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project for Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), a renowned professional Esports organisation based in Sweden, formed in June 2000. They are best known for their Counter-Strike teams. Aside from Counter-Strike, the organization has teams in Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, FIFA, and League of Legends.

NIP approached me with a vision to create a dynamic and visually captivating motion graphics video that would showcase their brand identity, highlight their achievements, and engage their audience.
My challenge was to create animated videos that would not only capture the spirit of esports, but also reflect NIP's unique personality and style.
Transitioning to esports and media production – their new branding must carry that transformation into the future.
I worked with NIP's designers and combined their creative expertise with cutting-edge motion graphics techniques to bring their vision to life.
We crafted a storyboard that emphasized the key elements of NIP's brand, including their iconic logo and signature colors.
Using a combination of 2D and 3D animation, I animated dynamic transitions, energetic text effects, and engaging visuals that captured the excitement and intensity of esports.

“The first day was rough” she admits, but says that as time passed and the logo was displayed in more contexts — on jerseys, in actual games — she started to receive more positive feedback from fans.
While other organizations may have struggled with the initial blowback, Bonnell doesn’t think that will happen with NIP. “First they’ll be ridiculed,” she says, “then they’ll be revered.”
The final motion graphics video we created for NIP exceeded their expectations and captured the essence of their brand.
It effectively showcased their achievements and engaged their audience, making it a powerful marketing tool for their esports events and promotions.
